Stacy Beck grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah, where she met Chris Beck in Jr. High. They were high school sweethearts, and are both graduates from Spanish Fork High School. The couple's four children also graduated from SFHS. Chris and Stacy are expecting their fifth grandchild this fall, and are thoroughly enjoying this phase of life. Stacy has worked for Utah Valley Magazine since 2005, and she has loved the opportunities and people this role has brought into her life.
One of the biggest factors that led Stacy on her path to civic service was joining the Chamber of Commerce in 2010. She served on the organization’s board of directors for 4 years, and also served as the president of the chamber in 2015. These experiences inspired Stacy to seek a spot on the Spanish Fork City Council where she is currently serving her 2nd term. One of Stacy’s favorite ways of connecting in the community is through serving as a co-host on “Studio Chatter.” On this local TV program (produced by Spanish Fork Community Network) Stacy has been able to interview fabulous local people, promote local businesses, and celebrate all things Spanish Fork for the past 7 years.
While Stacy is passionate about discovering the world through travel with family and friends, she has always loved the feeling of coming back to her hometown of Spanish Fork. When she isn’t spending time with family and friends or serving in the city, you can find her reading a good book or enjoying the outdoors.
